The proposed scheme involves:
The development of a newly built commercial unit to form a distribution warehouse and trade counter, welfare facilities, storage yard and parking.
Co-ordination of a two-part tendering process with part one for the Mezzanine Contractor and part two for the Principal Contractor.
Working alongside SIG legal department, AG have sought to co-ordinate a cost effective and sustainable development alongside multiple stakeholders including the landlord and their Principal Contractor, the architect, M&E consultant as well as the in-house PM team. These solutions have come from knowledge on previous trade counter refurbishment projects and strong relationships across the design team as a whole.

A changing starting point and lots of input can mean a cost plan that needs revision and coordination of many alterations. All done positively, AG were able to keep all members of the design team informed and able to make decisions and provide advise with certainty that their time was both well spent and valued.

The project has progressed quickly with objectives consistently met despite consistent changes.

Outcome
Over multiple projects AG and SIG understand each other’s strengths and where they can compliment each other. Meetings are detailed, decision driven, but fun. Consultants have been encourage to show personality as they provide clear advise within there area of expertise, all coordinated by AG. The design team is really a team.
