The proposed scheme involves the design and build of two apartment blocks, four storeys high, providing 83 apartments, with connection to all services, drainage and utility services, all infrastructure, remediation, external hard and soft paving works, landscaping and the like.
The scheme is being delivered in two phases:
Phase one: Works that have recently being carried out under the Pre-Construction Services Agreement (PCSA) allowed for continuation of the design to RIBA stage four and construction works comprising groundworks/foundations & drainage on site prior to the change in building regulations.
Phase two: Comprise the full scheme for the design and build of two apartment blocks four storeys high, providing 83 apartments. Costs for this are still being negotiated and a start date is yet to be agreed between the parties.

Agreeing a cost for the main scheme within the client’s budget

AG have driven this forward arranging meetings to review costs, challenging the design and areas that can be value engineered in order to bring the cost of the scheme down.
Outcome
Awaiting the contractor’s costs to determine if the scheme is viable and within the client’s budget.
